The Key

How It Works

Everyone gets these packs, in this order, once a day.
Each pack mixes five positions. Keep one you have a slot for.
You get 25 seconds a pack. Run out and the first card that fits signs.
If nothing fits, one card is swapped for a reserve.
The rule of the day changes what counts.

Reading A Range

The real value is somewhere inside the range, and rarely in the middle. Some ranges are tight and some barely tell you anything. Rarity and stats stay hidden until your lineup is locked.

Chemistry

Two men from the same franchise add up to 500, when their positions work together: a quarterback and his receiver, a center and his guard.
Same team in the same season means they really played together, and that pays 1,000.
Two men from rival teams cost you points. The franchise is what counts, so the Oilers are the Titans.

Reading A Card

Every card is one player's season. The big number is what it adds to your total; under it are his stat line and his fantasy points that year. Value comes from points per game, with a small cut for playing under 14 games, so a shorter old schedule isn't marked down.
